EMMA REANEY, LMFT-A
Emma Reaney was born and raised in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. Emma went to Wofford College for her undergraduate degree in Psychology and received her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse University. During her graduate clinical work, Emma worked at Emerge Family Therapy and provided therapy to individuals, families, and couples for a variety of issues ranging from depression and anxiety to trauma work.
Emma primarily works with eating disorders, self-esteem, and body image concerns. She is especially passionate about working with middle school, high school, and young adult women and helping them challenge the idea that they aren’t measuring up to society’s standards, but better yet their own standards. Emma also works well with anxiety, depression, trauma and adjustment for a variety of ages. She strives to provide a warm, inviting, and nonjudgemental space for individuals and wishes for clients to leave the therapy room feeling valued, respected, and hopeful for the future.
In her free time, Emma enjoys cycling classes, watching her favorite comfort shows for the one millionth time, and going out for Mexican food with her friends and family.
