EMILY SIZEMORE, LPC-A
Emily was born and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and completed her undergraduate degree in Health Promotion at Charleston Southern University. After graduating with her bachelor’s degree, Emily went on to receive her Master of Arts in Psychology and Clinical Counseling from The Citadel Graduate College. During her training, Emily gained clinical experience providing services to adults of numerous diversities with a range of mental health struggles in a variety of settings, including Serenity Place and Counseling and Psychological Services at Clemson University. Emily has also completed training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia and Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma treatment.
Emily has a passion for working with adult populations regarding struggles such as depression, anxiety, life adjustments, low self-esteem, ADHD, and interpersonal concerns. Emily emphasizes the importance of giving clients a safe, trusting space where they can feel heard and receive support while navigating times of growth and exploration while using evidence-based practices. Emily also enjoys working with clients to instill hope and help them build a life worth living, whatever that means to them.
In her free time, Emily enjoys attending yoga classes, cycling through a plethora of enjoyed crafts, spending time with her friends and family, and snuggling with her beloved dogs.
