Michael has worked in multiple settings including community mental health, psychiatric in-patient and residential facilities, and therapeutic foster care and group homes. He enjoys helping youth and families, as well as adults, facing a wide range of challenges. Michael has had extensive training in trauma informed care and is competent to provide treatment for attention, depressive, anxiety, and defiance disorders. Michael enjoys employing a systemic approach to counseling, focusing on fostering empowerment in sync with an individual’s unique support system.
