Laura has experience working in church and school-based settings counseling adults, children and families in a variety of areas including anxiety, autism, grief, ADHD, family and attachment issues, and trauma. Laura employs a client-centered, eclectic approach with a strong use of experiential modalities (particularly play and art/creative therapies) and has a special interest in working with trauma. She enjoys helping children develop emotional insight and strengthening abilities to advocate for their emotional needs, as well as partnering with families to facilitate growth and awareness as paths to healing. She is able to employ widely accepted and evidenced-based practices couched in a biblical worldview.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, watching baseball & movies, reading great books, and spending time outside.
